Pilipino Pre-Health Undergraduate Student Org.

We are known as PUSO! As an organization, our goal is to provide service, guidance, and support to pre-health students at the University of California, Irvine. We sponsor programs for minority youth to encourage their entrance into health professions. Also, we increase the number of culturally sensitive health care professionals. PUSO is an organization which welcomes everyone to join and learn together. Please feel free to ask us a question.

Can you believe that Week 3 already passed?! It’s crazy to think how quick this quarter is going by. Anyways, here are the highlights of this past meeting! :)

  • We got to meet new people during the ice breaker!
  • We learned about different research and volunteer opportunities on campus and how they are available to any undergraduate and any major! :)
  • The Michael Peyton visited us and gave great insight about his experience in research.
  • PUSOBeat Week#2 was a success!
